it seems that most believe they Have to JOIN the National Association of Realtors to be a real estate agent. Yet NAR will tell you that you don't have to Join, thing is if your Broker is an NAR member ... YOU have to Be... NAR -the Real Estate Cartel well they will boycott you, thrash you, not sell or show your listing if your not a member of the National Association of Realtors.
NAR Claims to Be the "Voice of Real Estate" in towns across our Nation and Internationally. NAR lobbys against consumers... yet billions of Dollars sure does buy public opinion so Real Estate Consumers Keep using Realtors, and Real Estate Agents KEEP getting backed into a Corner to Be "NAR" members called Realtors.
Many think that ALL real estate agents are "Realtors" and don't know the Difference. NAR puts the Propaganda out that if a Real Estate Agent is not a Member of the National Association of Realtors then they are NOT of a Higher Standard and they are somehow inferior in services they provide. When in FACT you have MORE protection in your Real Estate Transaction if you use a Non-NAR Cartel Real Estate agent. If you don't use their Standard "Protect the Realtor" Forms, and have their "Mandatory" E and O insurance to FIGHT when you prove Fraud, Flat Out Lies and Illegal activity.
If the Public, Real Estate Consumers in General don't know the Difference and NAR lies about non-Realtors ... well it is pretty hard to fight being a member if you want to succeed. NAR needs the masses to believe they need a "Realtor" NAR member or they lose their age, and the National Association of Realtors needs ALL real estate agents to believe the lie that NAR provides a surface to the Realtors when really your better off with your own web presence, and to NOT be a part of the MLS Cartel.... the Public owns the MLS and needs to DEMAND access...
Banks should NOT be kept out of Real Estate, NAR should have NO lobby power - using your money to fight for laws that hurt you... the real estate consumer... NAR should have No Clout in local decision making process.. they are an Association... suppose to be of a "Higher Standard" yet they in NO WAY hold Realtors accountable for the lies they tell or the Damage they do to the Real Estate Consumer.
Get NAR out of Real Estate and give the Power back to the Real Estate Consumer and the Honest, Law Abiding Ethical Real Estate Brokers and Agents who are fighting a corrupt real estate cartel with no where to turn to...

The Real Estate Associations and State Commission are not protecting the Real Estate Consumer, many think that is not true, but I have seen it for a decade now and continue to see it daily. There is constant NAR lobbying that hurts the real estate consumer, there is a constant pushing for new laws, or to keep banks out of real estate, or mandatory E and O insurance as well as an on going battle for NAR to continuing claiming that they own the information on your SOLD Data. It is your Blood Sweat and Tears but they Claim to Own it.
You chose to work with them, it is your money, the Lender Loaned the Money but the Realtor supposedly owns the Listing and SOLD Data, How Can this Possibly BE?

Title Companies don't protect You, they really can't in the current system. Banks and Lenders don't protect you, they knew you were paying way to much and you would eventually lose everything, they let it happen - there is tons of proof of this.

Am I on a Crusade against the Realtors?
I am simply telling you what I experienced as a Real Estate Broker Owner and as a Designated Realtor for my Own Real Estate Company for near a Decade. This experience was across several states and in various MLS Data Bases and Realtor Associations.
I am not on a Crusade against the individual Realtor. It is about accountability of NAR, I was one of those Individual Realtors and had no Real Way to protect the Real Estate Consumer and NAR at any Level NEVER backed me up on wanting to do right by my Real Estate Consumer. NAR did not stand up for me against unEthical Realtors and NAR lobbys for E and O insurance to be mandatory, and actively fights for the rights of Realtors to make money in the real estate transaction but does not take a REAL active role in what is REALLY best for the Real Estate Consumer.
Commission based real estate is NOT good for the Real Estate Consumer. It being unethical to involve a 3rd Realtor in your Real Estate Transaction as a Consult is seriously anti-consumer. E and O insurance is One hundred percent anti-consumer yet NAR member sit in front of State Governing bodies and tell officials that E and O helps protect consumers as well as Realtors... Not True.. not even a little bit True. And as Usual the National Association of Realtors is NOT accountable for any LIE they tell no matter how big it is or who is hurt by it.
Most Realtors in the Real World of Real Estates Are Good, Honest People and just want to sell you a house or sell your real estate and move on about their life. However, NAR will not protect those good Realtor. NAR will not stand up for the consumer against a Realtor that lies or breaks the law, they simply let the courts figure it out. And the E and O insurance paid Real Estate Attorney keeps you in court until you Break.
There is Currently NO Consumer Protection in Real Estate. And when the Good, Honest Realtor stands up for the consumer they are beaten down, boycotted, shut out, ignored and well they have no way to survive in the Real Estate industry and all because they spoke out about the Bad Realtor who hurt the consumer. This is my "Crusade" - it is not about the good Realtors though I am sure they don't look at that way. I want NAR to listen to the good Realtors and hold the Bad Realtors accountable for the damage they do. It is that Simple.

more NAR Gibberish on Why Keep Banks Out of Real Estate
NAR Says, "REALTORS® succeed or fail based on how well they serve the needs of customers."
and NAR says this about banks "Bank-affiliated agents would be pressured to focus on the needs of parent companies and shareholders."
This is some Disturbing Stuff here. First of all REALTORS® is Successful because of their marketing, their lies, their political clout and money. REALTORS® is a success because the real estate consumer believes that they are of a higher standard and that those "Ethics" mean something. REALTORS® is a success because they are a Cartel, Most Real Estate Agents have to be REALTORS®, NAR members in order to compete. Otherwise NAR members will boycott them, make their real estate listings look bad and they will not have access to the MLS Cartel Data that NAR thinks they own.
REALTORS® is not a success because of serving the "needs" of customers. Customers have no other choices for the most part.
Next REALTORS® DOES focus on Billionaire Shareholders, REALTOR® is affiliated and part owner of Realtor.com, Homegain, Connections with Cendant.. move.com and tons of websites, services, lenders, insurances and products. NAR clout hurts the real estate consumer every day and NAR is pressured to create MONEY on top of MONEY and is NOT out to Protect the Real Estate Consumer in ANY way.

FY2009 Omnibus Appropriations Act
The only Reason to Keep Banks out of Real Estate is To Keep NAR Happy, and NAR has so much of your Money that they convince your government to do what is best for the National Association of Realtors and NOT what is Best for You.
The National Association of Realtors NEVER did make a Good Case for Keeping Banks out but they sure did throw a fit and Use their CLOUT to Get their Way.
Banks already have access to your information and with banks in Real Estate it could be just another service with Free Checking, Real Estate Contacts. I mean they have the Loan on Your Property anyway. NAR is Your Government and NAR will continue to get laws enacted to benefit them, meanwhile NOTHING is done to improve the One Hundred percent Lack of Consumer Protection in Real Estate.
NAR Has all kinds of Nonsense Reasons why Banks SHOULD not be in Real Estate, they have been fighting it for years and NAR gets what NAR wants. Funny, every paper - list - handout I read that was put out by NAR on Why to Keep Banks out of Real Estate .. Because of What Might Happen, it was all Lies, and the funniest part ... the National Association of Realtors was and is doing the damage that they claimed that Banks in Real Estate "Might" do. Sick But True.
Now that all their Millions of Dollars of Lobby Money, Clout, Marching in D.C and Bullying Everyone over the last Decade has Got them their Way... Now The "National Association of Realtors" Says "If banks had been allowed to engage in real estate brokerage, it would have created anti-competitive and anti-consumer concentrations of power within the financial services sector, which would have ultimately increased costs for homebuyers."
As a Real Estate Broker Owner who QUIT the NAR Cartel for a Total lack of accountability to the Real Estate Consumer, I will tell you that The Honest Truth is NAR promotes - encourages and Flat Out Ignores Anti-Cometitive Issues and Constantly Violates Anti-Trust Laws and no One holds them Accountable. This is happening in the Real Estate Industry every where that NAR is, And has been for a VERY long time. Yet NAR says Banks in Real Estate would create this climate when the FACT is that NAR has already created it and No One Cares.
I have seen Horror Story after Story, and I am here to tell you that NAR is Anti-Consumer in EVERY way. They pretend to be of a Higher Standard but they do not hold their Realtor Members to those Ethics or Standards of Practice so What Good are they?
Ethics and Standards of Practice seem to only be in place to create the illusion that NAR, the Self Proclaimed Voice of Real Estate, Actually Cares about the Real Estate consumer when they do not. If a Realtor lies to you and you talk to a Local, State or National "NAR" representative, what happens? I have personally seen this and had many - MANY real estate consumers tell me of their experience, and well NAR is not listening, not Holding Realtors Accountable and are of NO way of a "Higher Standard". However the Real Estate Consumer reads the ads, and watches tv and they believe for the most part that NAR members are of a "Higher Standard" and HEY that is all they need to stay in business and GET their way over your Government.
Was this really the most important issue in March of 2009 when NAR finally got their way?
At a time when the Real Estate Consumer could use some Serious Rescuing, when You were losing everything... NAR finally got their way after over a decade of fighting over this Not really Important Issue, Was there NOTHING more important to PUT the Famous NAR Clout to Work on in the Spring of 2009? I think So.

the Disgrace and Blatant Real Estate Consumer Attack with the Short Sale Phenomena
The National Association of Realtors misled you, they told you over and over it was a good time to buy. A chief economist, TV ads and Realtors in the Field boosted your consumer confidence and the Mortgage Broker and The Realtor along with the Appraiser and the Approval of the willing Lender led the Real Estate Consumer down the path where they would one day, inevitably lose everything.
Lenders knew that they were loaning more money to the buyer then the house was worth, they did not care, they soaked up all the money they could in payments, and all that interest from no money down and low doc (no doc - liars loans) and many lenders SOLD their notes.
Realtors helped appraisers to make sure that property "appraised" so that all would be paid and everyone was so excited, money hand over fist. The Lenders had to know that a collapse was inevitable and no doubt hid assets, and prepared for it. How long can false home values continue to fraudulently rise with no end in site. There was always an end that was ALWAYS coming.
There was NEVER anyone who checked the Realtors SOLD data with the Settlement Statement, no one watching or even caring what the Mortgage Broker was up to, and no one really out to protect, defend or lobby for the rights of the Real Estate Consumer.
The lenders of course can go bankrupt, can get bailouts and on top of all the lies, corruption and deceit that the real estate industry has FORCED on the Real Estate Consumer and with NAR at the Helm of this Ship of Destruction. The National Association of Realtors wants you to believe they are not to blame and that they are innocent bystanders caught up in the same real estate disaster you are... but in Truth they are NOT.
The National Association of Realtors has connections to relocation companies, lenders, mortgage companies, title companies, moving companies and more... and the folks at the top making Billions, well they saw this coming and now the trick is to get that income rolling again by paying for Lobbyists and pushing congress to let that money flow again so that all parts of the NAR Cartel can get back on track.
Meanwhile the Top Dogs have no doubt stashed money, metals and assets and are doing just fine. They not only saw this coming but the folks at the top of the NAR food chain, in my Opinion Created this Disaster that is ruining the lives of millions of real estate consumers. And no one seems to pointing the finger at the National Association of Realtors.
So here we are, your losing your home, we know who I blame and then what. Well now NAR is of course working for buyer, investors as that is what Real Estate Brokers do right? And is NAR lobbying to protect you at this time or is NAR part of taking you down further.
To me it is a Blatant, Disturbing Disgrace that I can bring a Buyer to Buy your Home for Less then YOU, yourself Owe on the Home. Say you Owe $250,000 - and the bank agrees for my buyer to buy for $150,000 so that they don't have to keep the house on the books. Well many banks have already got a bailout for those loans so this money is gravy for them.
So my Investor, Buyer gets your Home for a hundred thousand less then you owe, I get 6% commission and maybe even more if I sell it again for this buyer and YOU, the Real Estate Consumer who supports the Real Estate Industry well YOU get to live in a Hotel.
So, I Feel it is Sick, Wrong and Violates every sense of decency to let you lose your home and let an investor buy for a price that the lender will NOT negotiate for YOU. You should be able to change your loan to what they are willing to take. The thinking I guess is get cashed out and get the loan off the books, problem is many of these investors are getting loans. So the only thing out of the mix and out in the COLD is you the Real Estate Consumer.
Even in the Loan Modification Process I am seeing Companies like Aurora Financing lie to real estate consumers, mislead consumers and refuse to modify loans just to stall the process and collect more interest and then when they do concede they don't lower the loan just the payment. So YOU lose again. And where is the "Voice of Real Estate" when your losing everything after they told you it was a good time to buy?
NAR is Lobbying to get Housing Credits, Get those Loans Rolling and Get you back into debt and paying them and affiliated companies as fast as possible.
It is VERY wrong for My Buyers to be able to by YOUR homes for 40 to 60 percent less then your loan and lenders to NOT be willing to lower your debt even after their billions in bailouts. No matter How you Look at it...

The Bankruptcy Courts are Corrupt there is no doubt about it
There is too much room for too many people to make money. And it is FREE Money.
Meaning the Creditors Committee, the Bankruptcy Court System, the Judges, the Trustees and all who are on the Bankruptcy Courts Payroll they get to make money, and get to claim it is a needed and legitimate expense and the Creditors just get to Eat It.
Which makes the Creditors ( real estate consumers, investors) really mad.. it makes them feel violated and fill with hate… but that Rage is directed at the company that went bankrupt and not at the company, the attorneys, the courts, the “System” that is the real party taking all their money. So they get to make the money with NO Accountability to anyone.
Money freely flows to all parts of the system and the Original Company as well as their Consumers, Investors.. Creditors… well they get screwed. But it really is party time for the Court System and all the players that get to share the proceeds from your life’s work. And this is seemingly all legal.
There is too much room in the current Bankruptcy Court System and Liquidation Process to give favors to friends, investors that will “favor you back” in the future, hide money for you, create companies or investments for the future or many – MANY other ways to create a diversion while hiding plenty of YOUR MONEY for their future.
There is tons of money to pay high wages to friends, lawyers, and anyone that they think may be able to help them liquidate in such a way that all their Cronies get big pay offs now and in the future.
Rules are Broken, Laws are Ignored, Judges sign off on certain circumstances in the name of the Highest Fiduciary Responsibility and no one seems to really pay attention to the real High Finance Fraud, Corruption, Theft and total disgrace of the lives and investments of the Real Estate Consumer – the Investor – the Creditor…
Meanwhile the original victims, such as the Real Estate Consumer, Real Estate Investor they get pennies on the dollar and though angry seem to think that there is nothing they can do about it and they blame the company that went bankrupt instead of the fallacies of the Bankruptcy Court System and the Severe Lack of Accountability of the US Depart of Justice Trustee that is Supposedly Looking of the Case. As well as the total lack of investigating or admitted knowledge of the affiliation of all the players involved in any particular Bankruptcy or Liquidation Process.
The Original investor, or real estate consumer, well they Do Care that their money is gone, however with the controlled media on the issue, the news articles that go out on that particular company or bankruptcy situation, what you have is the creation of the perfect storm of illusion. In this the Consumer (Creditor) really believes that the company who is going bankrupt is Evil, Ignorant, Thieves, Criminals, and in this they simply bend over and by in to the illusion that it is in the Justice Courts now and they will get justice someone.
They buy into the thinking that there is nothing they can do and that they are simply powerless as millions of their dollars is spent on unnecessary gibberish. They continue to blame the Original Company that Went Bankrupt while the wolf in sheep’s clothing is running off with their life’s work.
